Elizabeth - by Roxanne Ivy

We're both trying to figure out our life paths, the "meaning" to all of this,
you at 53 and me at 25.

It's hard to talk to you at times because of the barriers you and the
man built for me when I was a little girl.

But I've slowly started to break those barriers, watching you get
uncomfortable as it all starts to crumble.

I'm trying to get to know you, the real you before you leave this planet,
before you leave me with thousands of unanswered questions.

I think it's time you started breaking down your own walls.
It's time you got to know yourself too.

You're hurting yourself.
You're hurting me.
You're hurting us.
You're hurting.
