It's important to us that every human body has the access and tools needed to receive adequate help and support. Below is a (ever-evolving) list of FREE or subsidised resources we believe could be of use to you. The services offered are in the UK (mainly London) but we are working on gathering more information for those in neighbouring locations. 


Psychotherapy - Black Asian and African Therapy Network | (covering UK and mostly London) – Find a therapist of colour! - Freshstart | Low Cost Subsidised psychotherapy | Issues that can be addressed in therapy include:  depression, anxiety, anger and anger management, addictions, alcohol issues, sexual or sexual orientation issues, bereavement, low self-esteem and so on. - The Havens | Anyone in London who has been raped or sexually assaulted can come to The Haven. Women, men and children can all attend. Trained, experienced professionals can give you medical help and advice, counselling, practical and emotional support. (Covering | Camberwell; Paddington; Whitechapel; South London; Central London; North London) - Refugee Therapy | providing psychotherapeutic help for refugees and asylum seekers, especially children and families of recently arrived refugees who are having problems of adjustment. (free or very low cost) - Jungian Analysts | Network of trainees and graduates offering reduced fee Jungian analysis. (across the UK but mainly London) - Elop | A holistic lesbian and gay centre that offers a range of social, emotional and support services to LGBT communities, and our core services include counselling and young people’s services. We can also offer training and consultancy for fellow professionals and those seeking to enhance their understanding of issues facing LGBT+ communities. - CPPD | Humanistic and integrative psychotherapy. Trainees and graduates offering low cost counselling/psychotherapy. (based in Hornsey, North London) - Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research | Trainees and qualified members offer low cost Lacanian psychoanalysis (£5-£20). You will meet a qualified shrink for an assessment first, and then will attend analysis from once to five times per week. (covering London) - Gestalt Centre | Trainees offering reduced fee Gestalt psychotherapy in central London - Guild of Psychotherapy | Trainees and graduates offering reduced fee analytic psychotherapy (1-2 times/week). Low fee clinic available to residents of Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark at minimum fee of £5 - Brandon Centre | Counselling and psychotherapy for young people (12-21 years) living, working or studying in South Islington. No charge.

Sexual heath - CNWL | Offering free, confidential sexual health clinics for female sex workers, including health promotion advice and informal counselling. (clinics are in London) - Africa Advocacy Foundation | AAF works with people affected by a range of issues including sexual and reproductive health, violence against women and girls’ female genital mutilation (FGM), mental health issues, youth and the elderly from black and ethnic minority (BME) communities in the UK and overseas. They also offer employment and accredited health and social care training. (based in Lewisham, London) - Brook Brixton | Providing free and confidential sexual health and wellbeing services for young people under 25. All services are free. Sessions are walk-in, so no appointment is needed (see website for opening times). (covering South London) - Club Drug Clinic | Adult clubbers and LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transsexual) people who have developed problems with a range of ‘club drugs’. The team is based at the Kensington & Chelsea Community Assessment & Primary Service (CAPS) at 69 Warwick Road, Earls Court, London SW5 9HB. They run specialised club drug clinics on Tuesdays and Friday. - SH:24 | is a new online sexual health service that allows people to test themselves for STIs in the privacy of their own home and get results by text message within 7 days. SH:24 aims to modernise sexual health care by offering test kits, information and advice to residents of Southwark and Lambeth 24/7. Testing for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis and HIV – the four most common STIs – is provided free of charge. The service is very discreet and completely confidential – with no need for a name or any personal details to be attached to any samples that are returned in the freepost envelope. - London Friend | the UK’s oldest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans charity. We’re here to support the health and mental well-being of the LGB&T community in and around London. We offer counselling and support around issues such as same-sex relationships, sexual and gender identity and promoting personal growth and self-confidence. Their social groups provide a safe space to meet and socialise as an alternative to the bar and club scene. All services are delivered by trained Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans volunteers. - NAZ | offers a range of services for people to manage and maintain better sexual health. Their services include: Support for people living with HIV, including casework and support groups, HIV testing, HIV prevention programmes, LGBT support, and counselling and psychotherapy for people experiencing difficulties with their sexuality, relationships and sexual health. - Survivors UK | provide information, support and counselling for men who have been raped or sexually abused.
